My partner is from Bed-stuy, so when I said I wanted some ribs he took us here. I am not going to lie, good BBQ in NYC is atleast $$. We spent ~$60 for the two of us, which is still cheaper than some other restaurants. Food:4/5 My partner and were starving . So, we were ready to order a feast. 2 x Rib Dinners 1x half chicken 2x waters 1x banana bread pudding *a freebie* I was really worried when I heard dinner, because I can eat. So, when I saw that 6 to 7 ribs were in a set, I was relieved. It so came with corn bread, which outside of the ribs, were my favorite part. The chicken was good, just not my top two. I would definitely go again for a dinner with ribs, mac and cheese, and sweet potatoes. Services:5/5 This was our first time here, so I came here with low expectations. I was instantly proved wrong by the male (owner?) Greeting us and helping us understand the menu. He was amazing and made sure I got enough ribs to not steal from my partner's . Everyone there was amazing and kind. All in all, I am definitely going back when I got a rib craving. The service was amazing, they were all so kind to us. Plus, the music was fire! Definitely a must try.

I grew up on Royal Rib, back when they were Howard Ave. i love their food and Carole can "Burn"! They have also catered many events for me over decades and I and my guests have never been disappointed! I do wish that they would make it easier to order in advance and not have to wait on that line.

Royal Rib House is good. The food is really good. The stars are the ribs, chicken, chopped barbeque, collard greens, cole slaw and peas & rice. The Mac and cheese is still a lil watery and not cheesy to my liking so I avoid it. I also get the peach cobbler. The ordering system is still old school (talk to the person by the door who WRITES down your order). Try to go early afternoon on the Thursday or Friday because it won't be crowded. Anytime after 3 PM good luck with getting out within a hour after placing your order. There is a better way of taking and fulfilling the orders and I wish they would reach out to someone for assistance in that aspect. The long wait times is what is preventing a 5 star review.
